A well established school located around Airport residential seeks to recruit an experienced School Bus Driver should be free of any traffic or legal violations and should have a confident, yet calming demeanor and a strong understanding of traffic laws.
Responsibilities:
- Must posses a valid driver’s license issued in Ghana
- Transport children and other passengers to and from school
- Obey all traffic laws
- keeping the exterior and interior of the vehicle clean.and mechanically sound bus at all times
- Carrying out inspection and maintenance work like changing the oil and batteries, refueling, checking the brakes, wiper, air pressure, tires and engine.
- Ensure the safety of all students
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
- Guide children as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Must know Accra very well
- Excellent communication in spoken english
- Must understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
- Attend safety meetings as required
- Must be able to deal effectively and patiently with others
*Would prefer Candidates living around Airport and other closer environs
