A well-established preschool at Sakumono (Cambridge School) seeks the service of Preschool Teachers.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Education / Early Childhood Certificate
• Montessori, Cambridge curriculum experience and Jolly Phonics Trained
• Proven experience as a KG Teacher
• 2 more years work experience in a preschool
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Must be passionate, warm, loving , patient , child friendly and reliable 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives, ensuring effective preparation for both internal and external assessments.
• Deliver engaging, learner-centered lessons using appropriate early childhood methodologies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pupils’ academic and developmental progress, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Use a variety of creative teaching resources, including flashcards, educational videos, ICT tools, and interactive whiteboards, to enhance learning outcomes.
• Create and maintain a positive, nurturing, disciplined, and stimulating classroom environment that supports holistic child development.
• Prepare pupils adequately for assessments, including final examinations and the National Assessment Test.
• Oversee the implementation of the British Cambridge Curriculum, ensuring adherence to best practices in teaching and learning.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, safety, hygiene, and child welfare at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding pupil progress and development where necessary.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency in teaching standards and curriculum delivery.
