Preschool Teachers needed at Weija

A well-established preschooschool at Weija SCC seeks the services of Nursery & KG Teachers who can handle 2-6 year olds for their beautiful school.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Education / Early Childhood Certificate / NNTTC
• Montessori experience and Jolly Phonics Trained
• Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
• 2 more years work experience in a preschool
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Must be warm, loving , patient , child friendly and reliable 

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the 0 – 2, 2 – 4 , 4- 6 years rooms.
• Employ a variety Of Educational Techniques (Storytelling, Educational Play, Media Etc.) To Teach Children
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Collaborate with other Teachers & Educators – Good Team Player
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
• Observing each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Must live around weija and its environs
